Continuum Press contacted me a few months ago and asked if I would edit a Companion to Epistemology. I accepted, but I didn’t blog about it because I still had to go through their standard proposal process.
Now I can blog about it.
The acquisitions editor just informed me that both of the referee reports were overwhelmingly positive and recommended publication. I’m happy to report that the editorial board accepted the referee recommendations. I should be getting the contract soon!
I’m very excited about the line-up of epistemologists that have already agreed to contribute to the volume. I’m still making some decisions about who to invite for a few chapters. Once I figure that out, I’ll post the line-up. I’ll also say a bit more about my plans for the volume.
Nice. Congrats!
That’s great. As you may remember, Continuum published my free will book, and I had a very good experience with them. Many of their hardbacks are, unfortunately, pretty pricey. But they put out some really good stuff, and I think that they’re getting better on the philosophy side of things. Also, as someone who’s put together an edited volume, I’d be happy to share my experiences if you have any questions.
Congrats, Andrew.
More good news! Congrats!
