I just posted Helen’s introductory level talk “Saving the Greatest Number” over at the Young Philosophers site.
Check it out. This one is kind of cool because I managed to splice in her presentation slides complete with trolley case drawings. It was my first time doing that so I apologize if they linger too long (or not long enough) on the screen.
I’ll try to get her research talk up soon. After that I’ll put up a video from Nick Treanor.
Don’t forget we’re now accepting submissions for Fall 2009! See the call for papers here. The deadline is September 10, so why don’t you just send us that Pacific APA paper you’ve been working on?
Cool! A quick note, though: I’ve noticed the audio on many of the Young Philosophers videos not being so great. It would be a huge improvement to get a little clip-on mic that speakers can put on their shirts. When they walk away from the mic on the table, it’s difficult to hear them. In fact, it’s a bit difficult in general to hear them over background noise with the mic on the table.
